Nelson Olivera, LMT – HHP
Gifted, intuitive, integrated massage.

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in California.
  • Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) with over 1000 hours of training & service in the healing arts.

Nelson Olivera offers clients a unique combination of deeply intuitive abilities, emotional sensitivity and a broad range of massage techniques to provide deep release and relaxation that meets each client’s individual needs.

Spa services are integrated in your session:

  • Hot stone massage
  • Aromatherapy
  • Asian therapies are combined with therapeutic modalities ranging from deep tissue, trigger point and sports massage to Swedish, Thai, myofascial release and barefoot techniques.

To the best of his abilities Nelson listens to your body. His goal is to deliver a skillful massage through a nurturing touch that provides the relaxation and release your body wants and needs throughout the session.

He uses an intuitive approach built on a foundation of more than 1,000 hours of training and more than a decade of professional experience, integrating the best strokes from many different modalities. Nelson listens to the body through muscle palpation skills and sensitivity to address each client’s unique needs. This produces effective, measurable results such as deep relaxation, releasing frozen shoulders, stiff necks, lower back pain and specific tight areas and trigger points throughout the session.

Oil-based barefoot massage on the table offers gentle yet penetrating muscle release, working more deeply and broadly than fingers, elbows, and hands are able to do. This innovative modality applies scientifically proven methods through an intuitive approach to allow deep yet comfortable release and free the flow of energies in the body.

Nelson loves learning bodywork and experiencing different approaches worldwide whether in his native country, Brazil, or educational  trip to Adrspach in the Czech Republic and the thermal baths in Budapest, Hungary. He plans to further his bodywork studies in India and Thailand.

“For me, there is a sense of calling and mission in massage. I enjoy tremendously working in a meditative state of mind using my body, hands and feet.”

Clients say it doesn’t look like I am working but having fun. To fully be there for the client is a wonderful experience and sometimes we witness what I call active serendipity. It is when you get results by releasing the soft tissue when others have given up on the body’s complaints of discomfort and pains or after effects of surgery. Clients experience empowerment and wonderment.

Joseph Campbell said: “The natural opening of a human heart to another human being” and that describes what massage is for me. I take care of my clients in the comfort of their homes, offices and hotels. I have the free time to go to the gym, study a lot and take wonderful vacations where I exchange massage and further my studies. I am always learning about the body whether in my trip to Prague and some other cities in the Czech Republic or in retreat with Network for New Culture. My goal is to breathe more, have better posture and increase range of motion. In other words: A younger me every year!
